I am sorry but I have not posted anything new for a couple of weeks. I have been on the road and found a lot of places where my web provider and even my cell phone did not work. It is amazing how naked I feel when I can’t connect to the internet and work my cell phone. I have not had those jewels for that many years, but they seem to become ingrown habits quicker than dope addiction.
My company conducts seminars around the U.S. and Canada training what we call Funeral Celebrants. The aim is to train mostly lay people to conduct funerals for people who do not have a connection with a church or religious institution or folks who want a more personalized funeral that tells the life story of the deceased. A growing number of people consider themselves to be “spiritual but not religious” which usually indicates that they hold to many of the beliefs they were raised with but do not involve themselves with an organized religious group. We think these families need and deserve a funeral that fits their life styles and meets their needs. We were presenting in Seattle, Washington last week and I usually drive to these events, so I have been too long on the road for an old man.
I am back and trying to get my brain working again. Please be patient for a few more days and I will get back in the groove and catch up. Thanks for your patience.
